Executive Housekeeper Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee the housekeeping department, driving efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Department Management: Lead and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment that meets the needs of guests and the hotel.
  • Cleaning Schedules: Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and guests.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing resource allocation and reducing waste.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, inspiring confidence in team members and driving results.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, spotting even the smallest issues and taking corrective action.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, clearly conveying expectations and feedback to staff and guests.
