Job Title: Business Valuation Specialist

Job Description:

The HBK Valuation Group is a specialized, full-service entity that provides business valuations and expert testimony. We offer a range of services including commercial and matrimonial disputes, investigations of potential fraud and other suspicious practices. Our clients include business owners, estate tax planning attorneys, divorce attorneys, commercial dispute attorneys, private equity funds, and publicly traded companies.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Valuation Specialist. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for extracting and mapping data from financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and other relevant documents into valuation models and Excel-based tools. You will also conduct research on industry trends, guideline public companies, and precedent transactions.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines. You should have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, and a business valuation credential such as CFA or CA. You will have at least four years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of business valuation principles and practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in accounting or finance
