Boiler Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining autoclaved boilers, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and regulate boiler operations, maintaining required steam pressure, temperature, and water levels.
  • Conduct routine inspections of valves, gauges, burners, pumps, and safety devices to prevent accidents and hazards.
  • Handle and manage fuel efficiently, maintaining records of daily fuel consumption.
  • Maintain daily logbooks of steam generation, fuel usage, water consumption, and operating parameters.
  • Assist in statutory inspections, testing, and certification of boilers.

Requirements:

  • Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a boiler operator in AAC, Cement, Power Plant, or Process Industry.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Boiler Operation License (1st or 2nd Class) as per state law - Mandatory.
