Oracle Database Administration Role Overview

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration of Oracle databases. This includes tasks such as database creation, upgrades, and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in database administration with a focus on Oracle databases.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database Administration from 9i to 19c versions.
  • Knowledge of RMAN backup and restore processes, including data refresh.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning and performance management at the database level.
  • Experience with monitoring and managing Oracle databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Understanding of database security management and audit activities.
