Job Title: Enterprise Oracle Database Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle Database specialist with 5+ years of experience to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases in a dynamic enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for database installation, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database on Linux/Windows environments.
  • Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and patch management.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
  • Implement and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions such as RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and security audits.
  • Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues for L2/L3 escalations.
  • Collaborate with development teams for query optimization, schema design, and stored procedures.
  • Ensure database security, user management, and compliance with policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with backup & recovery (RMAN), Data Guard, and RAC.
  • Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for database management and tuning.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning.
  • Experience in patching, upgrades, and security hardening.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring.
  • Exposure to GoldenGate for replication and real-time data integration.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
