Cab Climate System Engineer - Thermal System Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with thermal engineers to define CAB Climate functions.
  • Set performance targets for individual components, ensuring optimal system efficiency.
  • Work closely with simulation analysts to analyze cooling & heating system performance virtually.
  • Verify heating system test outcomes and recommend necessary actions.
  • Evaluate vehicle compliance with legal and certification requirements for heating & cooling systems.
Core Accountabilities
  • Lead System FMEA for heating & cooling systems, driving quality and reliability.
  • Oversee QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature) aspects of your system.
  • Support component engineers with performance and durability targets.
  • Manage Q-Tools like D-FMEA, S-FMEA, Risk register, DFA(Manufacturing) & DFAM (After Market).
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Thermal/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in Thermal Management system engineering for CAB Climate.
  • In-depth knowledge of product development life cycles and change management practices.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and testing cooling, heating systems and solutions.
