The Assistant Manager - Learning & Development will play a pivotal role in elevating the educational and professional development initiatives at the University. This position will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs designed for faculty & staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the university community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather feedback to ensure programs are relevant and effective. Design, develop, and implement training programs that meet the needs of faculty & staff.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions, utilizing various instructional methods to enhance learning experiences.
  • Support the Goal planning & Performance Review process for employees, ensuring they receive appropriate training and resources.
  • Assist in managing multiple L&D projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Track progress and report on program effectiveness through metrics and evaluations.
  • Build relationships with external training providers and industry experts to enhance program offerings.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
  • Recommend and implement innovative learning solutions, including e-learning and blended learning approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records of training programs, participant feedback, and program evaluations. Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for L&D initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related field, preferably in an academic or higher education environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design software.
