Welcome to our opportunity for a Software Architect role within our India Telephony engineering team

As a key member of our Solutions Engineering Team, you will lead software design and provide technical guidance to ensure alignment with PBX architecture. This position focuses on defining functional requirements, software design, and mentoring the team during implementation, while collaborating with global Architecture and Product organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive software design for the India Telephony team, ensuring consistency with PBX architecture standards.
  • Develop and implement functional requirements, optimizing computational efficiency and network communication.
  • Enforce best software development practices and ensure design consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and support during development.
  • Collaborate with global Architecture teams to align on technical direction and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C++ (latest standards).
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and network communication principles.
  • Proven track record in building high-performance systems, including distributed and real-time systems.
  • Experience in leading software design and overseeing implementation across large-scale projects.
  • Prior experience in mentoring engineering teams and developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in telephony, VoIP, or real-time systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and their applications in software development.
  • Previous experience working with India-based engineering teams.
