Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished professional with a strong background in structural analysis and design to lead our civil and structural engineering team. As a Chief Civil and Structural Design Professional, you will be responsible for designing substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements, including transformer, tower, and girder foundations. You will also be involved in developing drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems, as well as designing outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural analysis and design of AIS/GIS substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements.
  • Design of transformer, tower, and girder foundations.
  • Development of drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems.
  • Design of outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling.
  • Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
Requirements:
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering design codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in design software and drafting tools, such as STAAD Pro, STAAD, Etabs, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in end-to-end design — from concept to detailed engineering.

This role requires a deep understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
