Civil Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing industrial structures for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with a major in structural engineering, along with extensive experience in industrial structural design. Proficiency in various codes, including ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, and IBC is required. Experience with structural design software, such as STAAD, SAFE, and ETABS, is also essential.

You will be responsible for providing engineering and design support for various industrial projects, coordinating with offshore teams, and collaborating with sales teams for business development. Additionally, you will visit client locations for technical discussions based on project requirements, prepare engineering drawings, and lead the civil and structural team.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as basic knowledge of modeling software, including AutoCAD, PDMS, and TEKLA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering and design support for various industrial projects.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams for extended engineering support, as required.
  • Collaborate with sales teams for business development.
  • Understand client requirements for various projects.
  • Visit client locations for technical discussions based on project requirements.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and lead the civil and structural team.
  • Provide engineering support to customer's engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for approval of engineering designs and drawings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Structural Engineering.
  • More than 5 years of industrial structural design experience.
  • Proficiency in various codes, including ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, and IBC.
  • Experience with structural design software, such as STAAD, SAFE, and ETABS.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of modeling software, including AutoCAD, PDMS, and TEKLA.
