At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Performance and Automation Test Lead to lead and mentor QA teams in implementing automation and performance testing best practices and strategies. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar for test execution and monitoring.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and executing performance test plans to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness using appropriate performance testing tools.
  • Maintaining and improving existing automation frameworks, scripts, and tools to ensure high-quality test coverage.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise in automation and performance testing.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance the overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.

We are looking for a candidate proficient in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, or Python, and having hands-on experience with Selenium, BDD frameworks like Cucumber, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in banking domain is a plus but not required.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be confident in client interactions, and effective in cross-functional collaboration. You should also be skilled in monitoring and reporting QA metrics, including test coverage, defect trends, and overall quality indicators.
