About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to collaborate with our team. Your role involves working with cross-functional teams, writing efficient test scripts, performing automation and manual testing, executing automated tests, and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop efficient automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of software applications and identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments necessary for test execution.
  • Monitor and report test results, metrics, and defects to ensure timely feedback to the development team.
  • Improve testing processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Certifications related to software testing and test automation.
