Project Director (Design Construction)

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the development of construction methods for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both RCC and steel construction, with hands-on experience in leading large-scale construction projects.

This role is responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing technical queries, and coordinating with clients on design and construction methodologies. Strong communication and coordination skills are required to drive value engineering and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender & Technical Review
    • Analyze project requirements to ensure compliance with construction standards.
    • Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Construction Methodology
    • Develop site logistics plans, construction sequences, and suitable methodologies to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
    • Plan resources including labor and plant & machinery to support construction activities.
  • Design Coordination & Value Engineering
    • Collaborate with design teams to develop construction-friendly designs that meet client specifications.
    • Optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness by applying knowledge of latest formwork systems and plant equipment.
  • Technology & Equipment Expertise
    • Apply knowledge of modern construction technologies and fast-track execution methods to drive value engineering and execution excellence.
  • Site & Execution Support
    • Conduct site visits to review progress and suggest alternate solutions to ensure seamless implementation.
    • Work closely with execution teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communication & Documentation
    • Prepare and interpret construction drawings and sketches to facilitate clear communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in preparing and interpreting technical drawings and sketches is also essential.
