Intellectual Property Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on providing timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders, offering insights in patent litigation and opposition, and undertaking due diligence of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth product launch.
  • Offer insights in patent litigation and opposition to align with product strategy in a cost-effective manner.
  • Undertake due diligence of products to apprise stakeholders about key patent rights, identifying acquisition or early launch potential.
  • Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection and evaluate innovative ideas to identify new opportunities for patent protection/development for differentiated products.
  • Conduct patent search to determine patentable inventions and file/prosecute patent applications to augment and bolster the patent estate.
  • Lead due diligence activity for products of interest to apprise stakeholders about the value proposition in acquiring/licensing/ the product from an IP standpoint for M&A deals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)/Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.
