Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic IT guidance to senior leaders, focusing on optimizing IT strategy, operating plans, and models.
  • Lead the governance of IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and value delivery.
  • Oversee financial management, vendor relationships, and contract performance for IT operations.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting processes to track IT performance and value delivery.
  • Facilitate project prioritization, oversee project management offices (PMOs), and provide delivery oversight to ensure project execution excellence and agile methodologies.
  • Chair IT steering committees and facilitate executive and business reviews to drive decision-making.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies, risks, and critical success factors across programs.
  • Establish and maintain IT policies, processes, standards, and quality compliance across the function.
  • Support change enablement activities and communicate IT-led program initiatives through collaboration with HR and Communications.
  • Ensure integrated workforce planning, location strategies, headcount tracking, succession planning, role-based requirements, and talent development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Office of the CIO domain, implementing required tools and frameworks for service excellence and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

Manage and develop a team of Office of the CIO professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Academic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications: ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, Change Management, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
