Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain professional to lead our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving strategic negotiations with manufacturers and vendors, managing group-level vendor relationships, and implementing SOPs for VMI operations.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of procurement trends and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors to establish new benchmarks for pricing and service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive cost savings through efficient inventory management.
  • Oversee the receipt of credit notes and trade offer discounts from vendors.
  • Implement, monitor, and audit standard operating procedures for VMI operations.
  • Reconcile VMI stock across all units to ensure inventory accuracy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Healthcare Management.
  • A minimum 10-15 years of experience in supply chain or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare/hospital setting.
  • Proven experience in vendor negotiations, compliance, and SOP implementation.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procurement dynamics, regulatory requirements, and VMI models.
