We're seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable server-side applications and APIs.

This role demands expertise in building high-performance backend systems, strong coding skills, and experience with system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services & APIs
  • Implement server-side logic, databases & data storage solutions
  • Optimize database schemas, queries & indexes for efficiency
  • Diagnose & resolve performance bottlenecks; implement caching & load balancing
  • Ensure backend security against common threats
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Rust
  • Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Expertise in RESTful & GraphQL API design
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) & CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Git, version control & branching strategies
