Job Title: Credit Risk Professional

A credit risk professional plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial well-being of organizations by assessing and mitigating potential credit risks. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit analyses to assign ratings to counterparties on an annual or semi-annual basis.

  • Carry out in-depth analysis of financial statements, business profiles, peer and sector analysis to make informed credit decisions.
  • Approve new client onboarding requests after performing due diligence.
  • Investigate credit limit breaches by collaborating with Sales, Operations, Middle Office teams, and take necessary action as per Credit Policies.
  • Monitor the performance of assigned Counterparties, track industry developments, and adapt accordingly.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects that utilize data analytics and modeling to enhance decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Chartered accountants passed in the first attempt.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of work experience.
  • Articleship with large audit firms / Big 4 consultancy is highly advantageous.
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning ability, a desire to create a career in research / analysis.
  • Self-starter with a strong inclination to work hard and flexibly in a rewarding environment.
  • Interest and willingness to learn new skills and apply them to grow as an analyst.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Knowledge of Python, Alteryx, PowerBI, or SQL is highly desirable.
