Job Overview

The Infrastructure and Cloud Services Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the company's on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Technologies and supporting infrastructure requirements.

This role involves identifying technical deficiencies in designs during daily management, configuring production environments, and partnering with team members to solve technical issues. The goal is to provide exceptional service to employees and supported ventures while maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.

  • Design and Deployment:
  • Manage medium to large-scale, global, enterprise network topologies using Microsoft virtualization technologies.
  • Wireless Networks:
  • Maintain and deploy wireless networks for remote buildings and corporate offices.
  • Cloud Infrastructure:
  • Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of various technology solutions using Microsoft Azure resources.
  • Support Services:
  • Support, deploy, and manage Microsoft O365 Messaging and associated technologies, Office 365 users & Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Environments, Active Directory 2019 and newer, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Azure Solutions and Services, and Microsoft Intune solutions leveraging Autopilot.
  • Server and Operating System Support:
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the support of servers and operating systems Windows 2019 and above.
  • Backup and Replication Technologies:
  • Understand Veeam or other Backup and Replication technologies.
  • Network Infrastructure:
  • Working knowledge of VLANs, IPSEC Tunnels and Protocols, Virtual Networks, and Routing & Switching, Physical Network Infrastructure, Layer 1 Networking, and Internet Service Providers.
  • Collaboration and Incident Response:
  • Partner with internal construction teams and external vendors to track, manage, document, and deliver technical deployments associated with building systems and technologies. Ability to partner with Cybersecurity in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, patient zero, and assist with threat remediation.
  • Storage Area Networks:
  • Deploy and maintain storage area networks.
    • Endpoint Detection & Response Solutions & Security Incident Event Management Solutions
    • Monitoring & Alerting Platforms
    • Active Directory Administration: AZURE AD & On-Premises + Entra ID
    • Asset Management: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager & System Center Operations Manager
    • Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune
    • Microsoft Windows Server Management & Hyper-V Clusters
    • Day-to-day support for physical servers, storage, and networking environments located in offices and colocation facilities
    Requirements

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.

Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.

Strong hands-on experience on O365 Administration & Backup Configurations & VM.

Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.
