Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to lead our global network infrastructure team. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the daily operation and maintenance of complex networks across multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and service providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic network designs and configurations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Deploy scalable networking environments by designing system standards, directing installations, and defining configuration guidelines for a global enterprise environment.
  • Maintain and integrate MPLS, VPNs, telco, and other technologies to support business continuity requirements.
  • Create reusable designs and systems that promote efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with disaster recovery requirements.
  • Collaborate with network architects on network optimization and development of best practices.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in enterprise data center networking hardware, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Palo Alto equipment.
  • Experience with cloud hosting technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and RackSpace.
  • Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure and how they integrate with the network.
  • Scripting experience in shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.
  • Expertise in maintaining production networks, VLANs, MPLS, SDWAN, Internet, IP-as-a-Service, DNS, BGP Monitor, VPNs, ACLs, Firewall rules, Network Address Translation (NAT), and VoIP technologies.
  • A deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions.
  • Comfortable working outside normal business hours when needed.
