Government Sector Internship Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:

Establish strategic partnerships with government departments, ministries, research institutions, and policy-making bodies to arrange internships for university students.

Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies to ensure ongoing cooperation.

Operations:

  • Oversee all aspects of government internships, including orientation, induction, and matching students with government bodies based on their areas of interest.
  • Handle documentation, report writing, and data analysis.

Student Engagement:

  • Organize motivational seminars, training sessions, and webinars for students.
  • Coordinate with marquee speakers and subject matter experts.

New Initiatives:

Design and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency and outcomes of government internships.

Eligibility:

  1. A postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Governance, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution is required.
  2. 5-7 years of work experience dealing with Government, Ministries, or the Public Sector as clients is necessary.
  3. Liaising experience with Government offices is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  5. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, is mandatory.

Preference is given to immediate joiners.
