Job Title: Government Sector Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Government Sector Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with government departments, ministries, and research institutions to facilitate partnerships and internships for university students.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. They will also have a deep understanding of the government sector and its various functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government departments and ministries to secure internship opportunities for students
  • Work closely with research institutions to identify areas of collaboration and partnership
  • Coordinate logistics and arrangements for student internships, including orientation and induction programs
  • Manage and nurture relationships with government bodies to ensure ongoing cooperation

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Governance, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution
  • 5-7 years of experience dealing with government, ministries, or the public sector as clients
  • Experience in liaising with government offices is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Technical proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Governance, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable institute.
  2. Possess 5-7 years of work experience dealing with Government, Ministries, or the Public Sector as clients.
  3. Experience in liaising with Government offices is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Be tech-savvy and highly proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
