Job Overview

The DevOps Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and support of build and deployment efforts, including debugging issues and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing a sustainable devops team capability to adapt to an ever-changing tooling landscape and control environment
  • Having a strong background in build engineering to effectively engage in debugging development and production environments and assist team members in resolving tooling issues.
  • Being accountable for delivering tooling on time for engineering deliveries
  • Utilizing analytical abilities to drive automation tasks and lead devops teams.
  • Collaborating with multiple engineering teams and possessing excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Jenkins, Groovy, and GCP.

  • Expert-level Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts expertise for managing API workload builds, integrations, and deployments.
  • Good understanding of Google cloud services such as GKE, MIGs, CloudSQL, MemoryStore, including integration patterns with GKE workloads.
  • Understanding of networking (Cloud and on-premise) for E2E workload build and deployments.
  • Hands-on experience in automating build, deployments, code scanning tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, container scan, automation of tooling integration using web services via pipelines.
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana for tooling integrations.
  • Understanding of Banking domain IT controls and processes.
  • Terraform tooling for infrastructure build.
  • GCP/AWS, Kubernetes Cloud Certification.
  • Hands-on skills in building Jenkins scripted pipelines using groovy language.
