As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and deploying new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Supporting the continuous evolution of the client's infrastructure as code approach.
  • Ensuring there are no single points of failure in the infrastructure.
  • Continuously improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances.

You will require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Linux systems management.
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash.
  • Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar).
  • Solid Experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP).
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
  • Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar).
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Automation experience in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP).
  • Knowledge of application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.

About the Role

This DevOps Specialist position requires a highly skilled individual who can design and implement complex cloud architectures, develop and deploy new development tools and infrastructure, and support the continuous evolution of the client's infrastructure as code approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Docker, Linux systems management, Kubernetes, Git, CI and CD tools, programming/scripting languages, application and system monitoring tools, web servers, database systems, caching, queues, and automation experience in a microservice/SOA architecture.
