About the Role

As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting learning experiences that are both beautiful and brilliant to use. You will own the design craft from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless marriage of aesthetics and usability.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Set the Visual Standard: Champion visual excellence by creating stunning, pixel-perfect interfaces that delight our users.
  • Design Intuitive User Journeys: Map out user flows, create wireframes, and build interactive prototypes that make complex learning tasks feel simple, intuitive, and logical.
  • Craft with Child-Centric Empathy: Use expertise in visual design and UX to create an experience that is engaging, forgiving, and feels like play.
  • Design for Professional Clarity: Bring clarity and simplicity to a powerful platform, creating an elegant and professional experience that empowers our adult users.
  • Unify UI & UX into a Cohesive System: Own and build our design system in Figma.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A seasoned designer with 8+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or Product Design, where you were hands-on in creating both visuals and the experience.
  • Visual Design Mastery: Expert-level skill in typography, color theory, layout, and creating beautiful, high-fidelity user interfaces.
  • UX Mastery: Strong command of user-centered design principles, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Child-Centric Expertise: Deep, practical understanding of the unique usability patterns, visual cues, and psychological needs of designing for children.
  • Figma Mastery: Ability to use Figma for the entire design process, from initial wireframes to building and maintaining a sophisticated design system.
