Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and applications.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud-based systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and deploy serverless applications using technologies like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Migrate existing applications to cloud platforms and ensure seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouses, lakes, and processing pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and big data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, Big Data (Hadoop), AWS/Azure (+Databricks mandatory/ GCP (+DBT Mandatory), SQL.
  • Solid hands-on and Solution Architecting experience in Big-Data Technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Experience in Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, Sqoop, and Oozie for data ingestion and processing.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems, message queues (Kafka Flink Spark Streaming) for data processing at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and exposure to tools like Kylo.
  • Operationalization of ML models on AWS, including deployment, scheduling, and model monitoring.
  • Feature Engineering Data Processing to be used for Model development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Scala, Java, Python, and C++.
  • Excellent understanding of big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and No-SQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker.
