About this Role:

This role involves the end-to-end execution of HR compliance activities, including audits and vendor coordination.

  • Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.
  • Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
  • Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations.
  • Address and resolve employee-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.

Sector-Specific Compliance (Financial Services):

  • Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per regulatory requirements.

Documentation, Inspections & Governance:

  • Maintain statutory registers, compliance folders, and inspection records.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits for HR data and vendor data.
  • Ensure state-wise minimum wages audit and holiday calendar review.

Regulatory Liaison & Risk Mitigation:

  • Coordinate with regional PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF offices for issue resolution.
  • Handle labour inspections and respond to regulatory notices.
  • Escalate potential compliance lapses and support corrective actions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless compliance execution.
  • Translate compliance requirements into SOPs and workflows.

Projects & Process Improvements:

  • Lead or support projects focused on labour law changes and compliance automation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for simplification and standardization in compliance processes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field.
  • Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with sector-specific compliance and knowledge of central and state labour laws.
