Job Title: Sports Development Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to create and implement sports programs that cater to students' physical fitness, competitive training, and coaching needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Developing curriculum for physical education programs
    • Conducting workshops and classes
    • Assessing student performance and providing feedback
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Coordinating sports events and committees
    • Managing equipment and resources
    • Communicating with students and staff
  • Facility Management:
    • Maintaining sports facilities and equipment
    • Reporting maintenance issues
    • Organizing tournaments and events
  • Collaborations and Partnerships:
    • Collaborating with government and private organizations
    • Guiding promising sportspersons
    • Delivering lectures on health and fitness
  • People Management:
    • Hiring and training team members

Overall Objectives:

  • To coach, guide, and train students in various sports
  • To adopt a selective basis in major games and athletics
  • To conduct matches, tournaments, and assist in university programs
  • To maintain and use standard equipment and sports goods
  • To prepare and maintain play fields, courts, and grounds
  • To develop and promote sports and physical education
  • Office management and formation of various clubs/committees

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Physical Education from a reputable University
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a private University and in a leadership role
  • High level of professionalism and consideration of students' well-being
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good networking with external sports clubs
