Exceptional Learning Experience Creator, Senior

Are you a skilled learning experience professional with a passion for creating engaging and effective content? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Learning Designer to join our team in crafting exceptional learning experiences supporting high-quality training programs aimed at improving skills, knowledge, and performance in software applications.

As a key member of our learning product development team, you will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and partners from various departments to gather content and ensure technical accuracy in the learning materials. You will be responsible for collaborating with SMEs to identify and acquire product content and knowledge through active listening and source material review. Additionally, you will understand, organize, and integrate this product information to design and develop effective and engaging learning assets using a variety of course authoring tools.

The ideal candidate will have mastery in English language (both spoken and written) with the ability to pass a standard written English proficiency exam. They will also have advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles such as ADDIE, SAM, Agile, LLAMA, etc., and excellent content development and writing skills, focusing on creating high-quality educational materials.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify and acquire product content and knowledge through active listening and source material review
  • Understand, organize, and integrate this product information to design and develop effective and engaging learning assets
  • Write learning content using a variety of course authoring tools
  • Learn and develop additional skills as needed, including new tools, new design approaches, etc.
  • Complete project management tasks such as updating project management tools, scheduling, and submitting content for review, etc.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and partner with other departments, including product development, and engineering to gather content and ensure technical accuracy in the learning materials
  • Track and report progress on learning design projects to senior management, identifying risks or delays and proposing solutions
  • Ensure the quality of learning materials through thorough review and feedback processes
  • Participate in onboarding and continuous education and enablement to become a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned Infor Cloudsuite
