About our role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced front-end frameworks using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Our ideal candidate will possess expert-level proficiency in crafting highly performant and scalable front-end architectures, with a deep understanding of key technologies and best practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Front End Framework Development:
    • Design and implement advanced front-end frameworks using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
    • Utilize expertise in crafting performant and scalable front-end architectures.
  • Rapid Deployment and Enhancement:
    • Demonstrate proactive attitude and strong aptitude to rapidly contribute to the core buildout of our mission-critical platform.
    • Collaborate with the development team to drive continuous improvement and iteration of front-end components.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into scalable and intuitive user interfaces.
    • Communicate ideas, solutions, and challenges clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams.
  • Front End Architecture and Best Practices:
    • Champion high-performance front-end architecture and adherence to best practices.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
    • Ensure compatibility across major browsers and adherence to HTTP protocols, leveraging technologies such as WebSockets for real-time communication.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in front-end development, with a deep understanding of React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise in crafting performant and scalable front-end architectures, showcasing an advanced understanding of key technologies and best practices.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running to drive the buildout of mission-critical platforms.

Desirable:

  • Capital Markets/Investment Banking Experience: Prior experience in the front office or trading domain within capital markets or investment banking is highly desirable. Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of these sectors is a plus.
