Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned frontend developer to lead our frontend development team. As a key member of our tech leadership, you will be responsible for the evolution of our existing web application's frontend architecture and drive clean, modular design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Execution
    • Elevate the frontend architecture of our existing product, implementing scalable and maintainable UI features.
    • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and functional features.
    • Contribute to full-stack development when needed, ensuring seamless integration across layers.
  • Team Mentorship & Code Quality
    • Guide and support junior and mid-level developers through mentorship and code reviews.
    • Establish and enforce coding standards, modular design practices, and component reuse.
    • Drive engineering excellence through design discussions, architecture reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Frontend Development & Integration
    • Develop responsive, maintainable UIs using React.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
    • Work with modern state management libraries (Redux, Pinia, Vuex, Zustand, etc.).
    • Build and maintain shared component libraries and internal design systems.
    • Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling authentication, routing, and dynamic content.
    • Apply modular CSS techniques using SCSS, PostCSS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind.
  • Performance, Accessibility, and Testing
    • Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
    • Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across screen sizes.

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years in frontend development with experience in React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  2. Proficient in component-based architecture, UI/UX best practices, and scalable CSS.
  3. Deep experience integrating frontend with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  4. Knowledge of routing, authentication flows, lazy loading, and code splitting.
  5. Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including SOLID and DRY.
  6. Experience with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Full stack experience with Node.js, Express, or serverless backend environments.
  2. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  3. Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Storybook) and implementing pixel-perfect UIs.
  4. Exposure to accessibility standards and performance audits.
  5. Experience working in startup or agile product development environments.
