Finance Leader Opportunity

As a seasoned finance professional, you will be responsible for spearheading the financial function of a dynamic organization. This leadership role entails overseeing finance strategy, cash flow management, investor relations, reporting, taxation, fundraising, and compliance. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive budgeting, strategic planning, and key performance indicator frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Operational Finance: Develop and implement financial reporting, forecasting, and structuring processes to ensure seamless operations. Drive the development of budgeting and strategic plans, as well as KPI frameworks.
  • Accounting, Audit & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate closure of books (GAAP). Lead statutory, tax, and internal audits. Oversee compliance with ROC, RBI, FEMA, TDS, GST, and ESOP regulations.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Manage investor documents, financial models, decks, and data rooms. Coordinate due diligence and support negotiations and closures. Maintain investor updates and board reporting.
  • Banking & Treasury: Foster proactive relationships with banks and lenders. Develop debt structuring, working capital facilities, and vendor financing strategies. Manage treasury operations and ensure liquidity.
  • Vendor & Cost Management: Govern vendor contracts, negotiate fees, and manage payouts. Implement cost control systems and real-time tracking processes. Maintain discipline across accounts payable and procurement cycles.
Candidate Profile
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in finance roles
  • Strong background in VC fundraising, due diligence, and modeling
  • Experience in hospitality, real estate, or venture-backed startups
  • Hands-on with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and financial software like Tally, Zoho, or QuickBooks
  • High ownership, strategic mindset, and ability to thrive in founder-led environments
