Job Summary

The Business Finance Manager will lead the finance team and oversee all financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
    • Collaborate with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Strategic Financial Management:
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation to drive business success.
    • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support business objectives and ensure financial stability.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
  • Stakeholder / Banking Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banking partners and vendors.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and communications, ensuring seamless and efficient interactions.
  • Financial Systems and Technology:
    • Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial operations.
    • Stay current with advancements in financial technology and recommend innovations to improve financial performance.
  • Special Projects and Initiatives:
    • Lead or participate in special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management, driving process improvements and operational efficiencies across the organization.
