Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our testing strategy, planning, and execution for core banking implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT testing, specifically in core banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end testing strategy for core banking implementation projects.
  • Lead testing teams across different test phases, including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Collaborate with business, development, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Ensure effective defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Provide test progress reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, QA processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee integration testing with third-party systems, APIs, microservices, and batch processes.
Requirements
  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 12+ years of experience in IT Testing, including at least 6–8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs in Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x – 14.x).
  • Hands-on experience in test strategy design, effort estimation, resource planning, and test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, and General Ledger.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, APIs, REST APIs, microservices, and batch processing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar) for functional and performance testing.
  • Experience in digital core transformation projects is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills with proven ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
