Senior Performance Test Engineer

This is a senior performance test engineer position that requires extensive experience in performance testing and a strong background in online banking applications.

  • Lead and execute end-to-end performance testing for online banking applications to ensure seamless user experiences and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance requirements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling to simulate real-user traffic and identify bottlenecks.
  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization, ensuring maximum system uptime and minimal latency.
  • Deliver detailed performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders to inform strategic business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing with a proven track record of success in senior/lead roles.
  • Expertise in BFSI/online banking domain with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Proficiency with automation tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Neoload, or Gatling.
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic.
  • Strong scripting skills in Java, Groovy, Python, or Shell programming languages.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
