Job Description:

As a Procurement Professional, you will play a vital role in sourcing and purchasing high-quality products for our global operations.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on customer demands and internal requirements.
  • Source and onboard multiple vendors to maintain competitive pricing and supply chain reliability.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts, analyze stock gaps, and set reorder points.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced professional with the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2–3 years' experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in FMCG with EXIM exposure.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of international pricing trends for food products.
  • Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP systems for order tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure goods and services as per company requirements, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Prepare and process purchase orders based on customer orders and internal demand. Source and onboard multiple suppliers for the same product to maintain competitive pricing and supply chain reliability. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Maintain strong vendor relationships and address issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts, analyze stock gaps, and set reorder points.
