Purchasing Specialist Opportunity
">We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to procure goods and services in line with our requirements, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Procure goods and services based on customer orders and internal demand.">
- Prepare and process purchase orders, source and onboard multiple suppliers for the same product to maintain competitive pricing and supply chain reliability.">
- Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms, monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.">
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and reconcile discrepancies.">
- Provide regular updates on purchase order status and delivery timelines to stakeholders.">
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, commerce, or related field.">
- Additional certifications in procurement/supply chain/exim procedures will be an advantage.">
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, knowledge of international pricing trends for food products.">
- Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations, familiarity with import/export documentation and compliance.">
