Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for the development of innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Analyze and optimize design performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply knowledge to improve design processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent understanding of technical drawing standards and CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor, CREO, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with ability to present design concepts and results to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with PLM software and client communications platforms, such as MS Teams and Skype.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control methods.
  • Knowledge of GDT and its applications in the automotive industry.
