About Our Client

Our client is a leading Non-Banking Financial Company - Investment and Credit Company (NBFC-ICC) registered with the Reserve Bank of India. Established in 2007, the company has a strong pan-India presence and focuses on leveraging technology and digital solutions to enhance customer and stakeholder experiences.

Job Description

- Provide strategic legal guidance on treasury borrowings from various sources, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk assessment.

- Structure high-value treasury deals from a legal perspective, drafting, negotiating, and finalizing transaction documents that meet industry standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop frameworks for covenant tracking and finalize borrowing memos, facilitating fund raising through domestic and international loans and bonds.

- Oversee the assignment of both standard and non-standard assets, managing contracts with clients, partners, and service providers while ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to technology licensing, data sharing, and vendor relationships, adhering to financial regulations and industry standards.

- Ensure the company's adherence to regulatory requirements, collaborating with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies as required.

The Successful Applicant

- Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of treasury borrowings, lending laws, and NBFC regulations, with at least 7+ years of experience in legal roles, preferably in the lending business.

- Contract & Compliance Skills: Proficient in structuring deals, drafting contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with at least 5 years of experience in this field.

- Strategic & Detail-Oriented: Skilled in risk assessment, covenant tracking, and problem-solving, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and external advisors.
