Specialist, Fixed Income Origination, Global Financial Markets

Job Purpose:
- Originate, structure, and execute a diverse range of debt capital market products (Pass Through Certificates, INR debentures, FCY bonds, FCCBs, private credit), ensuring compliance and contributing to team and organizational success.
- This role requires close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Lifecycle Management: Lead the full lifecycle of debt capital market transactions, from origination and structuring to execution and closing.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, presenting compelling pitches, negotiating deal terms, and providing regular market updates.
- Deal Structuring & Execution: Structure and execute complex debt instruments, including PTCs, INR debentures, FCY bonds, FCCBs, and private credit.
- Financial Analysis & Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence and credit analysis on potential borrowers, including asset selection for PTC pools and coordination with rating agencies.
- Risk Management: Conduct periodic stress testing on PTC portfolios.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations; support team audit activities.
- Strategic Contributions: Participate actively in team strategy development and contribute to the achievement of team KPIs.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare and manage transaction documentation; liaise with external parties (lawyers, trustees, other banks).
- Internal Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams (IBG, asset owners, legal, compliance, credit sales).
- Project Management: Manage ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in INR debt capital markets, securitization, credit structuring, or debt advisory.
- Proven experience structuring and executing PTC transactions.
- Proficiency in using Excel for asset portfolio stress testing using historical pool behavior.
- Understanding of debt finance, financial analysis, covenants, and bond mathematics.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
