We are seeking a talented API Management Developer to join our team. This exciting role involves developing and managing APIs using IBM API Connect, ensuring seamless integration and governance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent presentation and articulation skills for technical documentation and guideline writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement APIs using IBM API Connect
  • Ensure API security and governance best practices
  • Develop and maintain API documentation and guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive API-led architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in API management tools (IBM API Connect)
  • Strong understanding of REST API, API lifecycle management, security and API gateway patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment
  • Knowledge of observability concepts, Open Telemetry and Splunk
  • Backstage, Git Hubs and Azure DevOps
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Innovative mindset and continuous improvement
