Job Summary:

As a seasoned API Gateway Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust API solutions using Axway API Gateway and Axway API Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining APIs to meet business requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex API design and integration issues
  • Ensuring API security mechanisms are implemented correctly

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with designing, developing, implementing, and managing APIs
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex API design and integration issues
  • Ability to advise application teams on developing high-quality APIs that comply with architectural and security standards
  • Experience with various API gateways, such as Axway, AWS or equivalent cloud platform, including global deployments of application architecture

Desirable Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working with API design patterns and authentication & authorization controls using OAuth
  • 2+ years of experience working within an agile team (Scrum, Jira, Rally, etc.)
