Job Title: API Gateway Solutions Architect

The role of API Gateway Solutions Architect involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable APIs using cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and managing API gateways with AWS services, proficiency in Lambda functions for data processing and querying, and knowledge of API security, authentication, and optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop APIs: Create secure and scalable APIs using API Gateway, Lambda, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Implement API Solutions: Implement secure and scalable API solutions to support multiple applications and systems.
  • Monitor API Performance: Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with front-end and back-end systems and improve overall system performance.
  • Document API Specifications: Document API specifications and maintain up-to-date development guidelines and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CLOUD SERVICES: Strong experience in designing and managing API gateways with cloud-based services such as AWS.
  • LAMBDA FUNCTIONS: Proficiency in Lambda functions for data processing and querying and experience with cloud-based storage solutions.
  • API SECURITY: Knowledge of API security, authentication, and optimization techniques and experience with implementing secure APIs.
  • COLLABORATION: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with front-end and back-end systems.
  • CLOUD ARCHITECTURE: Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and agile development processes and experience with implementing scalable and secure APIs.
