As a highly skilled Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure. Key responsibilities include:

Cloud Infrastructure Setup & Administration
  • Deploy and configure API Management instances, Application Gateways, Virtual Machines, and Azure Functions to ensure seamless integration and high availability.
  • Configure Azure Active Directory, virtual network integrations, private endpoints, and managed identities for secure connectivity and authentication.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, custom domains, and API endpoint configurations to ensure compliance and security standards.
API Management
  • Create and manage APIs, products, policies, users, and subscriptions to provide efficient and secure API access.
  • Configure API security, including OAuth2, CORS, Role-Based Access Control, and API Keys to ensure robust protection.
  • Handle API versioning, revisions, and environment promotions to ensure smooth upgrades and minimal disruptions.
CICD Pipeline Implementation
  • Build and maintain API deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate deployments and reduce manual errors.
  • Automate API imports, policy updates, and infrastructure changes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Monitoring & Support (L2–L3)
  • Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to identify potential issues before they impact the system.
  • Provide L2–L3 support: troubleshoot API/policy issues, escalate as needed, and perform root cause analysis to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Manage incident resolution, including communication with stakeholders and teams to ensure timely resolution.
Security & Governance
  • Implement and enforce API governance policies to ensure compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews, log audits, and compliance checks to ensure security and integrity.
  • Manage platform access through Azure Active Directory roles, Role-Based Access Control, and managed identities to ensure restricted access.
Integration Services
  • Integrate SnapLogic with API Management for enterprise workflows and streamlined processes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot integration packages and connectors to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions across internal and external systems to meet business requirements.
Documentation & Collaboration
  • Maintain infrastructure, CICD, and API documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams on API lifecycle and governance to ensure alignment and best practices.
