Job Description

A Senior Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software systems. They work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate scalable and highly available systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and other tools
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and visualization software using Prometheus and Grafana
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents and resolve them with minimal downtime
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in software industry with at least 4 years of experience in SRE role
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and DevOps practices
  • Ability to design and implement scalable and highly available systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
