Strategic Application Leader

 

This role is focused on providing a clear vision and direction for application teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding developers, support teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective product execution and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with business and security teams to identify risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Manage service levels to ensure all commitments are met and variances are mitigated to reduce impact on cost, schedule, quality.
  • Work with Technical Architects to define, analyze, plan, measure, and improve product availability and continuity.
  • Identify and prioritize proactive maintenance action items, review and prioritize product defects, and champion improvement opportunities.
  • Develop statements of work and/or service level agreements with application development vendors for specific development changes.
  • Implement SLA/KPI alignment across the full SDLC for each SOW/SLA.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Expertise in multiple application delivery models, including Agile, iterative, and waterfall.
  • Ability to develop Knowledge Management strategies for applications.
  • Significant leadership experience (8+ years) in IT with expertise for leading multi-disciplined technology teams.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly on key matters relating to the application grouping to stakeholders.
  • Risk identification and mitigation.
