Job Title: Project Director

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven professional to oversee end-to-end project activities within our modular furniture manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Initiation
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Prepare and present proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design Coordination
    • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts that meet client requirements and budget.
    • Ensure design specifications align with client needs and standards.
    • Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.
  • Budget & Cost Management
    • Establish and monitor project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Approve procurement of materials, furniture, and fixtures.
    • Manage cost variations and implement corrective actions.
  • Procurement & Vendor Oversight
    • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers based on qualifications and capabilities.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms that benefit both parties.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes.
  • Construction & Installation Supervision
    • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
    • Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
    • Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Address and rectify non-conformance issues promptly.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Schedule & Timeline Management
    • Develop and maintain project schedules that meet client expectations.
    • Track progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely completion of milestones.
    • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
    • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
    • Manage client expectations and concerns proactively.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement risk management plans to minimize adverse impacts.
    • Address unforeseen issues promptly and effectively.
  • Post-Project Closeout
    • Conduct final inspections and obtain approvals from relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure proper handover of documentation, warranties, and manuals to clients.
    • Gather client feedback and conduct post-occupancy evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
