MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MongoDB DBA to manage, maintain, and ensure the high availability and performance of our MongoDB environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database design, implementation, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity and security for critical applications.

  • Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB instances and clusters across various environments.
  • Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure high availability and responsiveness of MongoDB databases.
  • Design and implement MongoDB schemas, ensuring efficient data modeling and indexing strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a MongoDB DBA in a production environment.
  • Deep understanding of MongoDB architecture and concepts.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB query language and database commands.
  • Experience with MongoDB monitoring tools and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of database security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization on MongoDB databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
