About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Training Manager to lead our team in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for Beauty Advisors, field sales, and retail partners.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging end-to-end training solutions that enhance sell-through, service standards, and launch readiness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product science, shade matching, regimen building, hygiene, VM basics, and claims guardrails.
  • Develop multi-format content including decks, playbooks, 2-min WhatsApp videos, role-plays, quizzes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Raise the bar through a Train-the-Trainer program, including field coaching, roadshows, and monthly masterclasses.
  • Partner with NPD/R&D teams to translate INCI & benefits into accurate demos and ensure compliant claims.
  • Set up Learning Management Systems (LMS) and trackers to report impact with dashboards.
  • Store audits & side-by-sides and address any issues related to grooming, demo ritual, replenishment cues.
  • Hire, manage, and onboard regional trainers, channel trainers, and external academies/vendors.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in beauty/personal-care retail training, with a proven track record of leading pan-India TTT programs.
  • A strong grasp of makeup & skincare, able to explain INCI and shade science simply.
  • Bilingual: Hindi & English, confident facilitator, and on-camera presenter.
  • Data-driven with advanced proficiency in Sheets/Excel, familiar with LMS, and comfortable with data analysis.
  • Flexible with weekend and launch commitments, high travel comfort, and adaptability.

Hiring Considerations:

  • Pure L&D profiles with strong pedagogy/content creation skills may need coaching on retail hustle.
  • Ex-BA/Counter Leads with great field intuition should test for content creation & analytics.
  • Prior Brand-Side Experience beats third-party trainer for accountability to KPIs.
