Job Title: Data Integration Specialist - Cloud Expert

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Data Integration Specialist with expertise in cloud-based platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and a proven track record of working with large data sets.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Understand requirements from high-level design documents and low-level design documents.
  • • Understand Hadoop/Mainframe ETL flows and prepare development and user acceptance test environments in Teradata/Unix/Hadoop.
  • • Estimate space needs and allocate space to Teradata databases in system integration test/user acceptance test environments.
  • • Transfer production data to test environments using Teradata utilities.
  • • Create jobs in Mainframe to transfer production data to mainframe files using Fast-Export Utility and NDM.
  • • Set up ETL jobs in regression effort and execute flow execution in Autosys and Mainframe.
  • • Analyze tasks and assign them to team members daily, participate actively in Design System Updates calls and defect review meetings.
  • • Prepare test cases with the help of test plans and review them with development teams.
  • • Validate Change Data Capture logic in Teradata using SQL scripts.
  • • Automate script module creation in TOSCA to execute regression scripts and upload results to Qtest/QC.
